Before you go, don't forget to make a reservation. The atmosphere is very cozy. The ingredients are very fresh and delicious. The wine menu is also quite extensive. The waiters are very attentive. We will definitely come back for other items on the menu.

Cozy and so Italian! Small selection of dinner options makes this place authentic and you can’t mistake with the choice, every position is delicious. Mine pasta spaghetti with mussels was one of the best I’ve had. My partner’s seabass was so fresh and tasty that we even seriously considered to get a second one. Highly recommend. A lovely place for simply amazing Italian food in Amsterdam. We have been already couple of times to Donna Sofia and liked it every single time. You can choose from Starters over Primi and Secondi to desert. For me either a Primi or Secondi is really more than enough as main and all portions are quite big. The service is always super kind and they are more than happy to help with all kind of requests. The menu is quite small and does change frequently. A few classics like the Tagliatelle al ragu and the amazing Tiramisu tend to be an always on. Which is great news. The quality of everything we tried to so far is really good and very classic Italian. The restaurant is quite small so I definitely recommend booking upfront especially if you want to sit outside and being then a part of the very lively Jordaan. My tip: try the Rosè. It looks nearly like a red wine but tastes so good!

Absolutely exquisite. The entire dining experience was enchanting. Our server was more than accommodating. This was a choice from The Commadore’s selection for restaurants in Amsterdam. The highlights were the burrata and the tiramisu. Wow.

I celebrated my 35th birthday here with 19 friends and I had an amazing time. The communication prior to the evening was super easy and smoothly. They were really helpful. The food was delicious and we were well taken care of. We agreed on a set menu but they were super flexible and even served extra desserts outside the menu. Thank you so much for the lovely evening, it was the best birthday ever!

Enjoyed my evening at Donna Sofia, place is super cute and my food was a 10/10. I was not a big fan of tiramisu until I got there, staff super friendly and accommodating had an amazing experience 🥂

We enjoyed an excellent 4 course dinner for New Year’s eve. Authentic and very tasteful Italian dinner with a marvellous bottle of Barola from 2017. Many thanks to the dedicate staff.
